Juno & Co Cumbria

There has been a dramatic rise in the number of working line bred dogs living in pet homes, and as a result an increase in problem behaviours usually linked to insufficient stimulation. Owners can often feel overwhelmed by a dogs instincts and are unsure on how to meet their needs. Juno & Co's mission is to help dogs and owners reach their full potential by finding their dogs a job through science based training. We encourage owners to train their dogs in the style that they were bred for and harness their natural instincts. It doesn't matter to us what your experience is - This kind of training should be accessible and fun for all!

Our priority is to provide science based dog training that works in the real world. We specialise in working with the high drive dogs, harnessing their instincts by developing play, engagement and motivation.

We are based in the idyllic Lake District, Cumbria, but we can work with you no matter where you live through our online academy.

The Trainer

Lucy is the founder of Juno & Co, Cumbria. She has a BSc in Education, MSc in Psychology and is a canine science behaviourist student at The School of Canine Science. Lucy has grown up surrounded by gundog breeds, but the real fun started when she got her first Hungarian vizsla. Since the day Juno arrived, Lucy knew she was in for a challenge! she has spent each day since striving to absorb all of the science & research surrounding high drive breeds and predatory behaviours in order to deliver her innovative approach to typical pet dog training.

Lucy specialises in high drive dogs, empowering owners with the tools to develop engagement, play & motivation, creating the most optimal bond between human and dog. Lucy is always training juno, with the aim of competing in working tests, and hopes that one day she can provide a more specialised service for HPR breeds.
